After a battle with Cyrus Gold, otherwise known as the Acolyte, Oliver is sedated and left for dead. Resolved to fix him, Felicity settles on a hazardous choice. The fix makes Oliver fantasize, and what he sees compels him to stand up to his past. In the interim, Barry Allen keeps on helping Felicity, and their association becomes more grounded. The Arrow asks Quentin to investigate Gold, however when the stakeout on Gold turns sour, somebody is slaughtered. Roy is caught and tormented by Brother Blood.
