Shaun and Lea visit a potential wedding venue when they come across a terrible car accident. They find Alma, a young pregnant woman who has suffered severe injuries and requires immediate medical attention. Back at St. Bonaventure, Alma's condition declines, and Shaun and Drs. Lim and Jordan are forced to give birth to the child early. In the interim, Dr. Glassman is worried when a figure from his past connects for help.
