Each time they land, Azula and her warriors discover Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph. Toph will not help set up camp, asserting she pulls her fair share and nobody else's. After a battle between Aang, Katara and Toph, Toph storms off furiously. Aang lays an imitation path for Azula and Sokka, Katara, Appa, and Momo, escape the other bearing. Aang sits tight for Azula and is battling her when Zuko and Iroh show up. Before long, Katara, and Sokka go to the battle, as well.
