Political race night shows up and the staff of Sterling Cooper hosts a gathering while at the same time watching the profits. The political race is close and it's clearly going to be a taxing night. Presently a senior accomplice in the firm, Don Draper must contract another head of record benefits, a post that Pete Campbell longs for. Mindful of Draper's mystery past, he attempts to solid arm him into giving him the activity. With his mystery out, Don frenzies and he asks Rachel Menken to flee with him. Recovering, Don challenges Pete's false front prompting a showdown with Bert Cooper.
